Meet in advance:

Chérie

Chérie studied Business Administration and Change Management at the University of Groningen. Before joining Bunchmark as a consultant, she worked as Talent Manager at RocketX, a growth agency for scale-ups. There she helped the company grow from 15 to 75 employees. In addition, she set up a Business Unit in Greece.

Chérie is a real go-getter, results-oriented and brings a lot of enthusiasm. Always with the thought in mind; keep it simple.

Jurriaan has a background in Public Administration, Strategic HRM and additional modules in labor law. Thanks to his commercial experience within recruitment & selection, he clearly falls into the ‘go-getter’ category. More recently, he helped SME companies and international organizations with their operational or policy-related HR issues. Hands-on and full of enthusiasm. Translating strategy into practice.

Birthe has an interesting combo of studies: Culture, Organization, and Management at VU complementing the High School of Hotel Management in Maastricht. A practical education combined with an analytical master in social sciences. After her studies, she gained broad experience in the HR profession. She filled her HR backpack with international experience at WeTransfer, Fremantle Media, Welcome app (NGO) and Patagonia’s European headquarters.

INTERVIEW

Will you join us as a work-study student?

Are you or do you know?

Are you studying and looking for a fun side job for at least 2 days a week? Do you have a commercial mind-set and affinity with HR? Do you know how to coordinate a sales process like no other? Do you get energy from responsibility and do you prefer working in an entrepreneurial environment, where no two days are the same? That’s a good thing! Because we are looking for a new student to join us in the field of marketing and sales!
But what exactly does being a “working student” entail? To give you a better idea, we asked our work student Rozanne some questions!
Hi Rozanne, you are Working Student HR at Bunchmark, how did you end up at Bunchmark?
I have been working at Bunchmark since September 2022. First as a graduate intern, during which I did five months of research. During my internship, I also worked one day a week. I mainly took on internal projects and organized events then. After graduation and three months of travel, I returned as a working HR student alongside my master’s degree in Policy, Communication and Organization at the VU.
What exactly does your role entail?
I work two days a week. In which I spend about 1 day a week doing program management of our new development program: Bunchmark First Time Manager Track.
A great challenge that makes me very happy. On the one hand I have to organize and switch gears and on the other hand I have to help think about content. I also organize events, the monthly online intervision session ‘Learning from the Neighbors’ and I help my colleagues with operational HR questions. When I have space I also take on internal projects, such as the recruitment of a new working student 😉 .
What makes this the perfect side job for you?
Within my role as a working student, I get the chance to taste different sides of the HR profession. In addition, no day is the same and I get a lot of responsibility. Exactly what I get energy from! Of course it also demands something of you, but it also gives you enough space to carry out your work alongside your studies!
What are you looking for in your (future) fellow work-study student?
I’m looking for a buddy to spar with and take on internal projects together! In addition, I enjoy learning something from your commercial mind-set!
